What can a man old enough to retire from the civil service do to embarass himself, and top what George Michael did in Will Rogers Memorial Park restroom several years ago?
Even allowing for Hollywood’s excesses, I found Lee Tamahori‘s antics a tad OTT.
His biggest directorial project was 2002′s Bond Movie “Die Another Day” starring Halle Berry and Pierce Brosnan. Unfortunately, that title has turned into a joke on Tamahori: “Die of Embarrassment.”
He was arrested on the 8th of January for approaching an undercover police officer and offering to perform a sex act.What’s more, he was in drag at the time. Yep, that’s right, he was dressed as a woman.Exactly what sex act is unclear. Guess everything will be spilled out when he appears in an LA court on 24th Feb.According to breitbart.com’s report:
“Mr Tamahori was arrested for soliciting. I can confirm he was dressed in women’s clothing at the time of the arrest,” Officer Jason Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department said.
“He was arrested after approaching an undercover officer who was sitting in his car and offering to perform a sex act,” Frank Mateljan of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office.
“The defendant was wearing a black wig and an off-the-shoulder dress, loitering on the sidewalk,” the spokesman said.
