Obligatory post about World Cup 2006

Well, the only thing I can add to the current information overload (do I really need to know how many accurate crosses Luis Figo did in a match?) is SMS shortforms. Due to frantic bets placed online among friends, there were some gems which resulted in innovation in speed typing. So far:

Rooney became “runi”

Beckham became “bekam”
