Sabahans are the world’s most inventive name-makers

I saw these list of names for 1st graders at a certain school in Penampang area. Judging from the names, assuming they are correctly spelt, we Sabahan parents must be the world’s most creative name-makers. We can think of names for our children that other people in any other part of the world will never ever be able to do.

One thing I can guarantee though: these kids will have a hard time on the phone in future. Everytime they have to give their name over the phone, they will have to spell it out!

Check these pictures out.

Cbejohertha? I can’t imagine how to pronounce this.

Astonish??? What were the parents thinking?

Those are apparently western names. But if you look at how the Americans and the British name their kids, they’re simple good old fashioned names (John, Andrew, Robert, Mark, Michael etc etc).

    I am Winner, here’s my brother, Loser….

Well an American couple from New York did just that 40 years ago to their 2 sons. The…

Kesian budak2 tu. Memang ibu bapa ada ‘hak’ bagi apa saja nama yg dia suka tapi janganlah sampai membebankan anak2 di kemudian hari (pasti timbul masalah). Berdasarkan nama di atas, sia pun tdk tau apa bangsa dorang ni… dusun kah, russian kah, org putih kah…. antahlah….
