Joanne Kimberly Majalap should be Unduk Ngadau 2009

She got 3rd place, behind Appey Rowena Januin, the Miss Sabah/Malaysia/World 2009 4th placer and Pearl Dianne Petrus who also participated in the said pageant, and won a subsidiary title.
I heard that if she had only handled the question-answer session better, she could’ve very well be the winner.

Yes, she did decide to participate this year, and as expected won the notoriously difficult Penampang Unduk Ngadau, defeating 24 other hopefuls.
Come 31st May 2009, she could very well be the 2009 Unduk Ngadau.

Joanne Kimberly Majalap, 18 was 1st runner up at Miss Sabah / Malaysia / World 2008 held in April, and I must say she’s as, if not more, stunningly beautiful as the winner, who’s none other than the 2006 Unduk Ngadau, Devenna Jaikob, 20.

She’s definitely transformed in the Miss World pageant. She looks a bit different with less make-up. But still pretty.

Catwalk can be taught and pimples can be treated. As for her private life, in these modern times, I suppose that can be considered “normal” already. In my humble opinion, the most beautiful girls on earth are Japanese – having spent a few months there, and they are very westernised already – perhaps that’s the price of development, and our society is going towards that also.
I think that Joanne Kimberly have lots more to offer rather then good looks, she is more then just a pretty face.
Dia boleh catwalk in the proper way and for God’s sake, how would you know the proper way to catwalk? and pimples as said can be treated, i dont think that pretty face alone should be looked into.
Based on my experience, the above (with much do respect) sabahjerr is not a professional commenter and for that sake, i would reccomend him/her to be have much respect for anyone and in this case, Miss Joanne Kimberly Majalap.
As this shows how, sabahan are not matured in their thinking. And one of that Sabahan is you Sabahjerr as I myself am a Sabahan with much do respec, I am not flattered with your comment.

It’s useless to argue when it comes to a matter as subjective as physical beauty. Still, I am 100% sure you’d agree that she looks better than Tomou, La Bamba Girl, Plastic Girl and especially, the late great Lamah a.k.a. Chot Chot!!!

she is preety n own a matured look. jus to advice once u r about to enter the pageant n modelling life,u shud always rmember that life is nt easy n shud be kind n nver look down on others once u r success in ur field.
prayer is important (its nt bout bein a church goer bt praying o’nestly n hav faith to god) speaks to god tru ur true hearts. u r n example of teenage girl in penampang s well s sabah. shw them a good example. its nt bout bein famous but to achieve ur goal in life. once u r down owez tink bout hw hard ur mum n dad to raise u n other siblings.
wat had sabahjerr commented, they hav the right to say anytin cus nobody cn stop them though. its normal wen u r getin well known jus ignore wat others are sayin bout u. if u belive in ur prayer keep on ur step towards a better future n nver let ur mum n dad down.

Joanne’s a really nice girl; down to earth. she should be in the unduk ngadau pageant, would be interesting to see her there. on the catwalk part, can still be improved. next year’s unduk ngadau is a long time to go.
but yeah, would love to see her in unduk ngadau. too bad she got 2nd for miss sabah though. she has the potential to be better than that. but then again, am happy for her nontheless.
as for the kissing part, lol, it happens. but i guess, she should do less of that nowadays since she’s known now. hmm…
